ANALYSIS CENTER OF GROWTH ON THE FAST GROWING AREA

Abstrak

Issues of regional development by most experts regarded as the problems posed by the presence
of symptoms (regional inequality). The gap between regions in Subang, West Java Indonesia is
one  of  the  serious  problems  that  must  be  addressed  through  policy  measures  with  the  right
strategy. The primary tool that can do a merger between the principles of "centralized" with
"decentralized"  at  once.  The  integration  of  sectoral  programs  and  activities  at  the  national,
provincial, and district / city, with the activities of businesses and people as needed.
The  purpose  of  this  research  is  expected  to  boost  the  development  of  cooperation  between
regions  functionally,  and  between  regions  that  are  relatively  developed  with  underdeveloped
areas  around  it  in  an  economic  development  area  systems  are  integrated.  Optimizing  the
management of a specific resource potential areas for improvement of the  regional economy
and public welfare, sound environmental sustainability.
The  analytical  method  used  in  this  study  is  qualitative  and  quantitative.  The  quantitative
analysis  used  Location  Quotient  (LQ).  This  technique  is  used  to  identify  potential  internal
possessed an area that sectors which is a sector basis.
The  unit  of  analysis  in  10  Districts  located  in  Subang  district  of  West  Java  province  of
Indonesia. The commodity sector and the activities of economic resources examined included
agriculture  (rice,  corn,  soybeans,  fruits,  animal  husbandry).  Furthermore,  the  trade  sector
(companies, markets, channels, and transportation). While the industrial sector studied is small
industry.
